Title: David Washima and Tsimim Matawa have a converation about rain, jaguars and nonindigenous women while eating crackers.

Description: Conversations, discussions and interviews between David Washima and Tsimi Matawa. The conversations contains discussion of different types of jaguars, rain and how problems in the community are resolved.Recording context: In my room, with the Zoom 6 on my desk and the two participants facing each other with Shure hadset microphones. There was no radio interference this time. The recordings sound beautiful inside my room.1. Zoom 62: David asked Tsimi whether he had ever encountered or killed a jaguar (zoto, selena). I was told that this was a story about every type of jaguar. 2. Zoom 63: David and Tsimi complain about nonindigenous women and how they are only interested in money.3. Zoom 64: David And Tsimi continue complaining about non-indigenous women (and I think women in general) while eating crackers... 4. Zoom 65: about how the araona know when its going to rain5. Zoom 66: what do the araona do when there is a problem in the community, how is it resolved.Other context: David showed up at my place around 9:00 AM. However, instead of working he told me that he wanted to leave for the TCO tomorrow. He got in a fight with his wife over money. We only really worked for half an hour and then we went to see if we could speak to Chanito through radio to tell him that we were coming. Chanito was supposed to arrive about a month ago, but has not arrived in Riberalta because he owes a police officer something like 50,000 BOB (according to Remberto and David). He borrowed this money like 4 years ago and said he would pay it back today. I don't really understand the story, because I have no idea why someone would borrow money from a police officer. Anyways, I left my phone number at radio Cinco de Mayo telling them to contact me if there was radio contact with Chacra, where Chanito is supposed to be. We briefly considered leaving with Remberto today. But the trip turned out to be too complicated, because Remberto will be going to Manupari and I'm not sure if this is a good idea right now. Remberto is supposed to work in Puerto Araona (Manupari) and help establish the curriculum there. However, the teacher that was going to be working there has not been reliable, and now the situation is worse. The teacher's child died from malaria. Remberto said that he wishes to change his place of work to Manurimi, because nothing in sustainable in Manupari.
