Description: The treaty between the Aitons and the Turungs - codicil or addendum. Transcription of a text that was written down after an earthquake that lasted 8 days (possibly in 1897). The text states that the treaty was concluded before the treaty of Yandabo in 1826. This analysis was prepared by Stephen Morey in Spetember 2000 and is based on a translation prepared by Nabin Shyam Phalung and Stephen Morey in November 1999.
