Summary of the collection

Cua is a Khoe-Kwadi (Central Khoisan) language spoken in Diphuduhudu, Shadishadi and other villages to the west of the Molepolole-Lephephe road in the Kweneng district of Botswana. The material in this deposit was collected during the summers of 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024 under the NSF grant #1760980 “Developing the next generation of researchers investigating Khoisan languages” (PI: Chris Collins).

 

Group represented

The material in this deposit was collected from speakers of the Cua language living in Diphuduhudu, which is located in the Kweneng district of Botswana around 150 kilometers northwest of Gaborone.
